Liberia: American Dream?
A two-hour eyewitness report on civil war in Liberia and the overthrow of President Charles Taylor. Producer Scott Bronstein and correspondent Michael Davie returned from Liberia and came straight to the edit suite with Pippa McBride. Working together, we built this documentary in about six weeks, writing the script as we went. After the show aired on National Geographic Television, we received many emails from Liberian expatriates thanking us for bringing attention to the situation in their country. This remains one of the projects of which Pippa is most proud.
