15 members of Congress, a bipartisan mix of Senators and Representatives, deliver a script celebrating the range of acts passed in 2016. The challenge in this piece was blending those fifteen different delivery styles and rhythms to create a smoothly uniform whole. We decided to have different voices pick up in the middle of sentences and to keep the bites short and sweet. This helped maintain pace. Since the footage was shot at 4k, we had the ability to move shots around and frame our speakers on opposite sides from one another, shot to shot. Once editorial was finished, we color corrected and did some background blurring, blending and smoothing to maintain focus on our speakers. A quick graphic title treatment completed the piece just in time for the USGLC 2016 Dinner.
